Who is Nuseed?

Nuseed started in Australia in 2006 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nufarm Limited (ASX:NUF). Nuseed provides excellent seed, service and new opportunities for farmers, plus new plant-based solutions and customized production for end-use customers.

Where is Nuseed located?

Nuseed has global reach with offices, R&D facilities and field trials in Australia, Europe, North and South America.

Is seed production in the United States?

Seed production will take place in the United States or Argentina and may vary from year to year.

Is Nuseed doing carinata research in other parts of the world?

Yes. There are active research programs in Argentina and Uruguay in South America with a base of operations at the Argentina Innovation Center in Venado Tuerto, AR. There are trials in several European countries with France as the base of operations, and pilot testing occuring in Australia. In summary, the current four major research geographies are 1) South America, 2) United States, 3) Western Europe, and 4) Australia.

What other crops does Nuseed work with?

Nuseed is primarily focused on canola, carinata, sunflower and sorghum.

How big is Nuseed?

Nuseed currently has over 250 employees and is rapidly increasing the number of employees and locations in Australia, Europe, North and South America.

How many countries does Nuseed do business with?

Nuseed has sales in over 30 countries.

Where is Nuseed's carinata breeding program located?

Nuseed Carinata breeding efforts originate from three main centers: Nuseed's Innovation Centers in West Sacramento, CA and Venado Tuerto, Argentina; and the R&D facilities based in Saskatoon, SK, Canada.
